Quelle: db-bauzeitung

I took a picture of this wall a few years ago when I first got into photography. Since then, I've learned a lot about framing and composition from a friend (you know who you are) so I decided to retake it. In the first one I put up I used an editor to bring back the original red in the bricks and the Coca-Cola text. This time I left it faded as it currently appears.

The smaller bricks are carrstone, an iron rich sandstone, used as a building material in west Norfolk.

I've seen this building numerous times when I'm down there and never knew what is was...from the Google then...

"World Market Center Las Vegas, located at 495 Grand Central Parkway in Las Vegas, Nevada, is a 5-million-square-foot showcase for the home and hospitality contract furnishings industry in downtown Las Vegas. It is the largest showroom complex in the world for the home and hospitality furnishings industry, serving domestic and international sellers and buyers."

Now I know...now you know. The explanation isn't as cool as the photo though... :)

The newest addition to the High Line art on display. Brick House by Simone Leigh can be found on the 31st Street Extension over 10th Avenue. She is made of bronze and stands 16 feet. She's quite impressive.
