"It's my dream carrot," says the bunny who is trying to harvest a vegetable that is larger than he is.

Camouflage is a vital survival tool whether you live in the jungle, desert, or even the big city. Here our beloved Nerdly has disappeared into the background, perhaps hoping to scope out what might be in the LEGO bags.

After seeing redbirch_bricks’ Ma.Ktober moc, I realized that my previous iteration did not have enough antennas and bulges. Hopefully I have now remedied this issue.

Some of you may have noticed my absence over the last couple years. New house, new jobs, natural disasters and the like have made the hobby sit quietly on the benches. In all this I completely forgot to share the fact that Kate and I squeezed in a trip to Denmark back in 2022!

Ah Houston we've had a problem. We've had a Main B Brick Undervolt.

Built for BrickNerd's Nerdvember's Survivor edition contest. Go with the most amazing survival story on or off this planet, Apollo 13! Had a hard time thinking this one up, it may have come to me just before Ken Mattingly died earlier this month (he was prime crew for 13 until bumped for measles's exposure). But his death may have been part of the inspiration, memory is fuzzy, Then when Frank Borman passed a few days later definitely solidified the choice.

Valkyrie Nerdly BricksLA 2021 Seed Part

The key to longevity is survival across generations. This realization struck Nerdly as he was struggling through the arid rocks of Studland. His life turned around by sheer clutch power when he met an amazing yellow Nerdly on the verge of the Duplonian jungle, where everything wants to eat you. Together, they set out to save their heritage by teaching their five offspring the art of blending in.

Another detail from my BrickNerd pirate entry. I just really liked this picture : )

I wanted to do a unique take on BrickNerd's survivor theme for Nerdvember, so I made this set of Nerdly themed nesting dolls. When the outermost Nerdly is destroyed (by anything from small children to being hit by a deer), the inner Nerdlies still survive!

This build uses all parts in existing colors and is structurally sound. The studs on the second smallest Nerdly are red police hats and on the second largest use part 98585.

PlunderCats are on the move, PlunderCats are loose! The PlunderCats are a band of ferocious feline pirates lead by the fearsome Captain Fluffybeard. Their ship is basically just a box with sails since the cats are usually more interested in the crate that the pirate ship parts arrive in than the actual ship itself. Their hideout is located in the middle of the Catribbean on Cat Skull Island (which used to be inhabited by Mouselanders) and is essentially a big cat tree. This is where they are keeping their enemy, the scurvy dog Admiral Barkington, hostage and where they are hiding their most prized treasure, the Golden Cheezburger. Plunder, plunder, PlunderCats yo-HO! Built for the piRATS and BUGaneers contest on BrickNerd.
