So the outcome of brewing 15+ gallons of mead back in January is that now that it's summer it needed to be bottled. We've been doing it in stages.

Of course, whenever I brew I have to indulge in the fruits of my labor. I do try to limit my intake to one or two beers per session though, otherwise I have a tendency to start forgetting things. Today, I'm imbibing an Irish Stout served on beergas (75% nitrogen, 25% carbon dioxide). Serving on beergas provides that awesome Guinness-like cascading bubble effect.
The temperature and festive vibe could not have been any better at the 4th Annual Annual Rhythm Wine and Brews Experience on February 28th 2015 at the Empire Polo Club. Under the threat of possible rain, 1000’s happily gathered beneath beautiful starry skies to enjoy wine and craft beer tasting while entertained by a diverse line up of talented musical entertainment.

First time visiting the Defiant Brewing Company in Pearl River. I thought the place was a little odd when I first walked in the door, it's basically the back end of a brewery where they have a bar set up. The beer you order comes directly out of the big vats. It was pretty cool, I'll probably go back there again.
