I made this necklace from a tutorial that Ruby from www.cakies.blogspot.com did! It was so fast and fun!
I won the fabric I used from Rachel at RVA. I love it!

Since I have to wear my hair up for work, braiding is something I do everyday...
Had a flashback this morning of mornings when I braided my DD’s hair. So now she does mine occasionally. She also took this picture.
Progress so far on this piece. I put this aside while I worked on Treasure Ship, and I'm enjoying working with all the lovely colours.
Neo Braids aren’t just a hairstyle. They’re presence.
Built around sharp, intentional parting and layered braid flow, this look delivers structure from every angle. The pattern work hits clean and deliberate, while the hanging length in the back adds movement and edge. It’s controlled without feeling stiff. Detailed without feeling busy. Every line has purpose.
This is for the avatar that doesn’t blend in. The one that walks into a room and doesn’t need an introduction.
📍Available at the Vladdy Mainstore and Marketplace.

Dre Braids deliver a clean, intentional two-braid style built around symmetry, control, and realism. Designed with precise parting and a smooth hand-drawn hairbase, this look balances simplicity with sharp detail for a polished, confident finish.
The style features two structured braids that sit naturally from front to back, making it versatile, grounded, and easy to wear across fits. Includes a multi-color HUD with preset options, allowing customization while keeping the look clean and consistent. Crafted to feel deliberate, modern, and unmistakably Vladdy.

Excuse my random background of some dolls on my shelf. :P I didn't feel like setting up paper or fabric or something. (And yes, I do see that one section of Believix Power Tecna's hair that's randomly in Musa's face. I don't know what happened. I'm just noticing it now that I'm uploading this.)
So I decided to try curling Bloomix Layla's hair by braiding it into tons of tiny little braids, running it under really hot water, and waiting a day for it to dry... but it didn't work. I tried undoing one of the braids this morning and it was pretty much the same as before, just slightly wavier. So disappointing!
But I actually do really like how the braids themselves look so I think I'm just gonna leave her hair like this. It's cute! I should probably redo some of them-- especially the ones near the top, but eh, it took me an hour and a half to do them in the first place (I'm the worst at braiding, okay?) and I don't feel like doing it again.
What do you guys think?

First time trying it out and it came out pretty decent. A little off center but worked well for the day...
