today i tried to do the inverted or "dutch" braid. i like it. of course my hair isn't long enough to braid all the way to the back, so the center back looks really crappy. ah, well. the front and sides look okay!
p.s. larissa, i'm wearing the dress you gave me! i love it!! :)

Braided aerial roots of Banyan tree coming out from a branch
The big banyan tree is mainly composed of aerial roots that provide support to it.
Noraa finds it very relaxing when her friends braid her hair.

My recycled photos here. I did a new photo for this prompt, but Winterish's hair looks better in this style that Joana Gentiana who I photographed. I think it is because the braids are longer so they show more from the front.

i never really cared for french braiding cause i sucked and didn't really understand how to do it. i still kind of suck. haha.
however, i like to french braid my hair like this now thanks to my friend.
this isn't me by the way.

I offered to do a tutorial on how to braid Rapunzel's hair. Now, this tutorial is being made with a first issue Tangled Rapunzel doll which has 17'' of hair. BUT if you have any of the newer Rapunzel dolls with shorter hair you can still do it. The only difference is that you'll have to make the braids as loosely as possible so when you finish, it can look as long as it is in the movie. Of course I'm skipping the flower details because I haven't been able to find appropriate flowers for the braid.

Braids in the Rakaia River, Canterbury. The Rakaia, which flows from the Southern Alps/Kā Tiritiri o te Moana to the Pacific Ocean/Te Moana-nui-a-Kiwa across the Canterbury Plains/Te Moana-nui-a-Kiwa, is one of the largest braided rivers in New Zealand. The water's blue colour is due to reflections from floating glacial sediment.
