All of my classmates thought it was a headband. It's all natural, darlings! I took the long under layers of my hair from either side, braided them, and pulled them across the top of my head. It only took 5 bobby pins to secure, and it stayed in all day long. A headache-less headband. :)
Pavilion built 1901; extended 1930 and 1992.
In 1890 the proprietors of the Braid Estate formed the Braid Estate Recreation Ground consisting of a bowling green and a tennis club with their associated pavilions "for the use and enjoyment of the feuars within the area of the Braid Estate ". The cost of building the facility was met by the said feuars.
At the first meeting of the club in 1892 the Chairman and first President of the Club proposed that the club should apply for admission to the Edinburgh and Leith Bowling Association. The proposal was passed and the green was opened for play for the first time on Saturday 7 May 1892.
A fine new pavilion was built and opened in 1901 on the east side of the green. This pavilion provided a fitting backdrop for an international match that was played at Braid in 1908 and on that occasion the famous cricketer Dr W.G. Grace was on the England side.
This was taken in Braidburn Valley, the neat square of trees outlining the area once used as an auditorium. I later took a shot of that evening's sunset, layered it over the top, and tweaked a bit. :-)

I finally got myself a script for photoshop that stacks sets of photos into one photo. It's mainly meant for star trails, but I discovered you could use the same method on any timelapse, sometimes with great results. Here's the script I downloaded, for free. blog.starcircleacademy.com/2011/02/automated-stacking-of-...
