Have been trying something else, made some bracelet braiding some "waste" shoelace I had lying around. Now I just need a nice clasp, any ideas?
A beautiful handbraided belt from Ayacucho.
In the Inca period these braids were used as string and were a weapon. I am amased they are able to do this by hand, as in Japan they are also made and on very complex equipment. So this is amazing work.

So we just harvested some of the winter wheat we grew, and taught the kids how to do wheat braiding... this was one of my efforts.

Picked up this braided lightning cord at the airport & can't recommend it highly enough.
I've lost count of how many Apple lightning cables I've replaced bc they've frayed. This one is Apple-certified, has an aluminum body, a braided nylon cord cover & a little velcro cable tie. And to top it off, it's less expensive than the OEM lightning cords sold in Apple stores.

Hair in front braided in small individuals. Back of hair is weaved. Hair used is Unique Wiiv 18in "Deep Wave". Her hair is very thick, so it took 3 pkgs of hair.
