I asked if anyone in my YTT group knew how to French braid because I have been wanting one for awhile since my hair has gotten longer (and I want it out of my face before my Wednesday stylist appt!) And Kath stepped up and helped me with this lovely crown braid. She did it for me over our lunch break :)
Sarah and I bought this when we first got marred in '89, from a store called Home Express. Everything they had was very 80's. We had it in storage at my mom's when we moved her up to the Bay Area. It came in handy as it fit perfectly in the living room of her apartment.
Oops, forgot a part. Before braiding, I slather my hands with the hair grease and re-pick the tail. Then make sure it's good and dry before braiding.
I was going to use stretched out pantyhose, but I found a skinny piece of bandage flannel to finish the braid.
The braid was started just below the tailbone.
took this myself, which might explain why you can only see a bit of the braid, but it was the best one, even after i enlisted Paul to help.
