A young, hip braided mullet on campus, spotted at the University of New Mexico.

It rose for longer than it should have, but I think it did the bread good to rise for longer. And letting it sit to rise, once sliced into two long ropes (for braiding), also helped.

I followed the braiding directions found in a video here.

One note I NEED to remember for next time: this bread sticks to the pan, despite aggressive buttering. Parchment paper is a real asset.
