this is not perhaps, the most helpful video, as i had most of this braid already done when i went looking for the camera. sadly, i could not video the other side so well: i had to "prop" the camera up in the medicine cabinet. i couldn't braid the other side while looking in the mirror. get it? any way, the thing about recording one's own braiding is that my hands also get in the way. and chances are, i will not be "recruiting" my husband to run the camera.
okay. maybe something more pretty next week.
nice clean designs braided up the back into two ponytails a great option to keep hair up and out of face but still girly
I learned to make this sling braid in Yanque Peru. It is made from llama fiber. The sling cradle is tapestry woven and edged with triple knit looping.
saw this new braid tutorial on youtube, all you do is, braid your hair and at the bottom of braid, hold the 2 outer strands of hair, pull up on the middle strand about half way and then straighten out the scrunched up part on top. fasten with hair band.
here is the video.
they said, I look good with Braids and at the same time they are also shocked! Bangladeshi dude with braids!!...haha!
Emma waited patiently for an hour while Grace did her homework after school. When she still hadn't finished, Emma asked to braid her hair while she worked.
made these last week. The top is a square braid made with DMC embroidery floss and the bottom is a hollow braid out of Pearl 5 Cotton and satin ribbon.

A 19" square makes a 6 3/4" square model! I really want to make a much larger one but it will be hard to find a really big piece of paper - I think maybe 40 inches square will make about a 14-inch model ?

Wig making exercise for crochet Bleuette. These four wigs are all made from mohair yarn, and are quite simple. By using a yarn with a high mohair content, you let the yarn do most of the work!
This is a simple braid and bangs wig. The cap fits snug, and is not sewn down. This way, Bleuette can change her hair with her outfit :-)
Intended for my wrap vest, but I think I like it without a belt better... so, I will use this braided strap for a hairband or as a yoga mat strap.

Denali National Park is full of braided rivers - and when I was there they were running very low. The brown water isn't exactly photogenic, but here I thought it was a nice leading line.
My good friend, Janer (shown below), was the hair stylist and overall helper for the Frida shot. This is one spectacularly beautiful girl. You can't even really tell she has impetigo all over her face.
Serena was not a good sport for this shot. She doesn't mind dressing up, but she hates braids. She has a thing about hair. Still, she loves Janer, so she allowed it.
P.S. So you can see I added the unibrow and mustache.
