Intended for my wrap vest, but I think I like it without a belt better... so, I will use this braided strap for a hairband or as a yoga mat strap.

Denali National Park is full of braided rivers - and when I was there they were running very low. The brown water isn't exactly photogenic, but here I thought it was a nice leading line.

It´s my first try of this modular, just to see if I could reverse engineer it, after having done the Toki Yenn Umulius.
Units size: 3x5:18, 3x5:14
The smaller side of each rectangle is 7.5 cm.
I used a heavy paper, not too good for this kind of folding (it breaks easily), but to test the idea is good enough.
I don´t know if the units are folded in the same way as Francesco, but I like the result.
I have included another picture with several steps I followed to fold one of the 5:18 units
First comes the picking; about 2 hours. Then the sorting; another 3 hours. Then the fun part; the braiding; about 3 hours. I braid it fresh to get the tight braids.
I tried out the Katniss-style braid from The Hunger Games on my friend Sarah. It turned out really well!
Wig making exercise for crochet Bleuette. These four wigs are all made from mohair yarn, and are quite simple. By using a yarn with a high mohair content, you let the yarn do most of the work!
This is a simple braid and bangs wig. The cap fits snug, and is not sewn down. This way, Bleuette can change her hair with her outfit :-)

Does anyone recognise any of the people in the photograph? The two men standing on the back row to the right hand side are known. Do you know where the garage was in Deganwy? ( Was it were Qwik Saves used to be?) Is it part of the same garage that still exists in Mochdre?

Wednesday morning, Emily decided to braid Chris's hair. It became a morning tradition, and he went to worksites with some neat hairstyles. (He had forgotten his conditioner, so it was a bit knotty until he picked up some conditioner at Gigante.)

A 19" square makes a 6 3/4" square model! I really want to make a much larger one but it will be hard to find a really big piece of paper - I think maybe 40 inches square will make about a 14-inch model ?
I just really did not like the braid on the doll, so I decided to do another one, Katniss' trademark braid. It looks amazing on the doll, and that much more like Jenifer Lawrence as Katniss.

This is something new that I just completed. I butted this piece, meaning each row is separately added and finished off. You can make drastic color changes this way, with no noticeable start or finish. I love the way it turned out!
