An extreme macro of a very beautiful Spruce twig on a large tree in my front yard. Sometimes..well often times, I am so amazed at all of the details in nature..the incredible braiding and twisting involved in every little off-shoot along the main stem..just blows my mind..and this is but one of thousands and thousands of individual sprigs..

We can’t have an Elsa doll without an Anna doll and Becki was generous enough to include an Anna doll. Anna is similarly detail as Elsa though sadly her blue gloves stained Anna’s hands so I just keep them off. The hair was taken down but I braided them up again kinda crappily so yeah haha.
There’s just so much subtleties in the facial screening I half think she’s been hand painted and blushed because it’s SUCH well done approximation of the movie face.
Also a side note, her shoes make it easier for her to free stand than Elsa’s shoes.

This is one of my newer creations, and can be used for multi-purposes. I think it looks striking as a centerpiece, yet it measures 18" across, so it would make a great pet bed as well!
It's all hand braided, and laced with a strong cord for durability! It's machine washable, and would make a nice accent in just about any room.
This started out as a tortured tee shirt I had laying around for quite some time. I cut it into thin strips and sewed the ends to a strip of extra jersey left over from the sleeves. Then I braided the strips and sewed up the other end with another sleeve. Then I put my hair up in a loose bun and tied the headband below the bun and tucked the ends under. I'm pretty proud of how it turned out but I think I will keep experimenting until I perfect it. Maybe next time I'll use a hot pink shirt!
