this was my first attempt at braiding bread dough. it's king arthur's scali bread recipe. i didn't have any sesame seeds though. it spread out a bit, and didn't rise UP quite as much as i'd hoped it would. but i think it's okay for my first attempt.

This is the sort of thing that I draw all of the time, on everything, anyways. And yes, the two ends that you can see are connected in the middle. No, you may not see those pictures.

Colours are orange for real!Sor, green for katter!Sor. All tangled up because we can't ever be separated or something equally cute.

This was the only example of male hair braiding that I saw in the Turmi Market in the Omo Valley. Shaved heads and dread locks were more the norm.

My first ever french braid. It was a bit messed up, so I tucked it under using amish hair pins to hide the mistakes. So hard to see the braid due to the curliness.

One of my most favorite quilts that I have made! I still need to quilt it (don't want to rush anything - LOL)!

I like that it kind of looks like a Frank Lloyd Wright stained glass window. The border and sashing fabric shows space scenes and planets.
