this was my first attempt at braiding bread dough. it's king arthur's scali bread recipe. i didn't have any sesame seeds though. it spread out a bit, and didn't rise UP quite as much as i'd hoped it would. but i think it's okay for my first attempt.

I tried to make a braided rug from towels (purchased from a thrift store), it was a mess. I thought it would take me forever. But looked good once completed.

This was the only example of male hair braiding that I saw in the Turmi Market in the Omo Valley. Shaved heads and dread locks were more the norm.
My first ever french braid. It was a bit messed up, so I tucked it under using amish hair pins to hide the mistakes. So hard to see the braid due to the curliness.
