Kristen Lock used 3 packs of Toyokalon synthetic hair to achieve these cornrow tree braids. What is great about using synthetic hair is that it is so inexpensive! You can pay a great deal of money on human hair which comes out looking BEAUTIFUL, or you can save some money and use synthetic hair. The synthetic hair will tangle quicker then the human hair but so depending on what is more important to you you will either do synthetic hair or human hair.
Yay my first french braid... I always thought they were pretty and have always wanted a long one on my back ...Yesterday my friend braided my hair into a single french braid...she is a pro at french braiding ..Hope someday I could braid my own hair :)

See how easy that was? Less easy: the 30 minutes we spent trying to get parchment under this ridiculously soft, huge, wobbly dough so we could transfer it to the baking pan.

This takes me about 45 minutes to do. It turned out a little fuzzy, should have used some gel before braiding.
I have a herniated disk between my shoulders so by the time i was done braiding my hair my arms felt on fire. Honestly, it was harder getting a picture of my own hair. ( c;
