Stone of border / Pierre de frontière n. 167 - pontifical side / côté pontifical -The southern part of the Ciociaria, with a series of adjustments of border owed, for instance, to the annexation of the dukedom of Sora (end XVIII century), has made part for centuries of the Kingdom of Naples - or Kingdom of the Two Sicilies - important government entity and of long duration formally absorbed in 1860 with the strength from the Piedmont in unitary Italy.
In this zone they fortunately remain standing big part of the signs of border, precious historical document.
This border has been administrative up to discusses and debatable decision of Mussolini, that has admitted this vast band of localities to the Latium as a form of prize for the centrality of Rome in the sabaudo-fascist state, in 1927.

This fence is not literally the border from Zhuhai to Macao - but almost. The skyscrapers in the background are all in Macao.
As seen from Tachileik, the Myanmar border town. The border is open daily between 6.00am and 6.00pm Myanmar Time (between 6.30am and 6.30pm Thai Time). The entrance on the right side of the road leads to Thailand and the exit on the left side welcomes visitors to Myanmar. In the last hour before the border closes, one can see the contrast between those going back to Thailand and those coming in to Myanmar – the more affluent Thais have just finished their shopping trip to the nearby ‘Tha Lot’ market, holding shopping bags filled with their purchases; Myanmars have just closed up their hawking trolleys or have finished working in the various shops in Mae Sai.
