I often wonder what people did to get through a boring day at work in the not-so-distant past when the internet wasn't so common-place. Likewise, what did people do to pass time in a mall when Borders was not yet around?
The day felt very bland. Not that company wasn't good, in fact it was great. But the cold and the seemingly impenetrable fog did not do my mood any favours. So I was glad to see, upon reviewing the day's images, punchy reds to punctuate the neutral.

Took part in the 2nd cross border run from Gretna to Carlisle, it was a very hot one indeed . Thanks to Rob Westgarth for asking me to run for the Carlisle Audi team and also Julie Tiffen who made up our 3 man/woman team.

U.S. Northern Command is working together with the Department of Homeland Security to augment U.S. Customs and Border Protection along the southern border with additional military forces. TEXAS GUN BOATS
After the shooting at Lake Falcon by
members of the Mexican drug cartel, Texas will no longer rely on the Federal Govt to protect is citizens. Six of these boats have been put into service along the border by the Texas Dept. of Public Safety.
On 4 February, Prime Minister Xanana Gusmao inaugurated the first Integrated Border Post (IBP) at Batugade, Bobonaro District. President Ramos-Horta, Minister of Finance Pires, Minister for Tourism and Industry Alves, the Indonesian Ambassador to Timor-Leste, and UNMIT SRSG Haq and UN Police Commissioner Carrilho attended, amongst others. The facility supports the legitimate cross border movement of people and goods for tourism, commercial and community links. The IBP consists of several border control agencies, including immigration, customs, quarantine, border police, agriculture, foreign affairs and transport. In questo set, ho cercato di creare un percorso, iniziando dalla strada per arrivare a Wahga, passando per gli animatori, i canti (Lunga vita al Pakistan PAKISTAN ZINDABA +o-), fino ad arrivare al momento in cui le bandiere si incrociano.
