I carved this stamp to use as a border on a card. I haven't used it yet--still some fixing to do.

It's August 24, 2007, and I'm driving back to Saint Paul, MN from visiting my mom in Ontario. On the way south from Sauble Beach I drove into a truly horrific rainstorm, one of the most violent I've ever experienced. I thought I was sure to go off the road or have the car cut out at any moment ... but somehow neither happened, and I made it to the border.
Of course, like a complete nitwit I had my camera at hand and I would occasionally snap pictures! While driving through a maelstrom! This is the last in that set; a rainy-windshield view of the Sarnia side of the US-American border as I approached it. I decided at this point that I should finally put the camera down. I can handle Mother Nature, but not Homeland Security!
Instead of installing a fence, give shrubbing roses a shot. This type of plant can grow just as tall as a fence, and we think they tend to look a lot prettier, too! Their beauty and fragrance won't go unnoticed in the landscape.
I took these last two at the start of the year, And from the start of December I've only been shooting in Jpeg format, due to PC problems, Ive also decided that since the last time I did any landscape stuff, that it will probably be about it from me until around spring time.
I do like landscape photography but really want to take my picture making in a total different direction, So I thought I'd upload the last two from my last time out.

The view from the saddle on Border Island. If you ever get there, its definatly worth the 10 minute walk to the top. However, its not worth misreading the tide charts and being stuck for 4 hours!
Definatly best viewed large.
Anyone know where you could get a 75"x10" pano printed?
Hi, I'm back with lots of pictures and charged batteries!
I'll take a look at your shots soon (when I have an acceptable amount of laundry left). ;-)

They still like to work, but at agility, not sheep. The picture is in a different style from my usual work, it suits the dogs better I think.

We found a BT in France! You can imagine the hilarity of me trying to ask the woman who owned the BT if she hand-stripped the dog—anyone know the French words for that?
Regardless, we got the message across and the answer is no—he's been clipped on his back.
Oh, and Border Terrier in French is Border Terrier (avec une accent).
Forgot to include the obligitory exterior shot of this one when I posted a few interior shots of this store.
As of June 2011, looks like the entire company is in trouble. This is turning into Circuit City redux.
