this was some freebie thing from an ebay seller from whom I got a really spectacular number of fantastic unmounted images ages ago (unmarked obviously, but suspected leavenworth jackson, ken brown, and some of my super damn favorite ones ever).
I'd always just been meh about these but I'm gonna finally mount them and try 'em out, but I wanted to preserve the details of the sheet just, you know, in case it ever came in handy.
As my Mother's ancestors were from the Scottish Borders, this painting represents events my Kin may have been involved with. In the background is a Fortified Tower, prevalent in Northumberland known as a Pele or Peel Tower. Cattle underneath and family above, both protected from Raiders (or Reivers).

About an hour or so south of Brisbane, the Head Road is a very scenic drive through the lush ranges on the border of Qld and NSW, from Boonah to Killarney. I had never driven it before and I would thoroughly recommend it. Unfortunately we couldn't get to Queen Mary Falls because of the weather.

I was thinking the light grey crosshatch for a small border, and then the green seeds for the binding?
Right now the top is 24 x 14 - if I add a border, it would make it about 28 x 18.
Should I skip the border and just do binding?
I lied. More scanned in photos for your viewing pleasure. This is the northern border of Papua New Guinea with Indonesia (Irian Jaya / West Papua province). I'm in PNG looking west, the border is on the top of the hill.

deported from the USA after living there for half of their lives and leave their
wives and children behind, choosing to live a marginal life in Tijuana in
hoping to make it back one day. No documents, no communication with their families in the USA.
