The northernmost of Thailand ends with a road and a bridge over to Myanmar (Mae Sai border checkpoint).
I’ve been to two land border crossings and both times they aren’t as flashy or comfortable as an airport, but with a lot less hassle.

Looking at the numbered panels on the border fence at the International boundary in Jacumba California.
The house to the right is located in Mexico and I'm sure the border patrol monitors this area for tunnels into the United States from that house.

To the north (left) of the fence, it's Scotland. And I duly crossed it but in other places it's not quite so clear. That said, most of the journey for the next few hours was in what remained of England.
And this is looking east, down the beginning of the Coquet valley. To the right (including the hill straight ahead), it's the back of the army ranges at Otterburn.

This is the border between two parts of the planet, the Separatist half and the Republic half. The fighting is at a lull at the moment, so people are going back and forth between the two halves, visiting family and stuff. There's been a break in in one of the shops.

In the margin of an adjacent photo is written, "Bridges were Fred's cousins." Specifically, Uncle Will Bridge was married to Fred's aunt Nellie Ranney, who was his mother's sister.
Famous ghost town on border between North 7 South Cyprus. Th town lies in a demilitarised zone & was abonded during the Turkish invasion in 1974.
