Looking at the numbered panels on the border fence at the International boundary in Jacumba California.
The house to the right is located in Mexico and I'm sure the border patrol monitors this area for tunnels into the United States from that house.

This beautiful dog was patiently waitng for it's owner and just calmly observing it's surroundings, it seemed like a really nice dog. Thanks to 'Just Jo' I believe this is a 'Border Collie' although it could a mix. I think if I was to get a dog (which I would love to) I'd get one of these or a West Highland Terrier.
This dizzying gorge is a natural border, or frontier, between Tunisia and Algeria. It's spectacular. Not for those with vertigo!

This is the border between two parts of the planet, the Separatist half and the Republic half. The fighting is at a lull at the moment, so people are going back and forth between the two halves, visiting family and stuff. There's been a break in in one of the shops.
If I administrated a border of a country that changes its name every 4-5 years, I wouldn' bother updating the sign either.

A short diesel hauled goods train stands in Saughtree station. Note the track layout which is faithful to the original with a short siding and headshunt. The Border Counties Railway closed between Bellingham and Riccarton Junction to passengers in 1956 and to goods in 1958 but a short section has been relaid in the Saughtree area where the station was bought by a railway enthusiast. Saughtree is the first station in Scotland. Two and a half miles behind this train is the next station, Deadwater, which stands on the English side of the Border.

Rantau Panjang is a bustling border town about 40 km from Kota Bharu, Kelantan. It is separated from Thailand by Sungai Golok (Golok River).
This rustic town has a duty-free zone popular for its Thai foodstuff, clothing and housewares. Not a sleepy town, the atmosphere here is generally intense.

this was some freebie thing from an ebay seller from whom I got a really spectacular number of fantastic unmounted images ages ago (unmarked obviously, but suspected leavenworth jackson, ken brown, and some of my super damn favorite ones ever).
I'd always just been meh about these but I'm gonna finally mount them and try 'em out, but I wanted to preserve the details of the sheet just, you know, in case it ever came in handy.
