These are the cutest booties ever! The pink heart buttons were used instead of the white ones, and I think they add a little pop to the booties.

Christine's Stay-On Baby Booties, by Christine Bourquin, in Hamanaka Wanpaku Denis.

crocheted green newborn booties

I have a niece!

These booties are quickly becoming my favorite thing to knit for new babies. They're super quick, super cute, and super practical, too.

They're basically Bev's stay-on booties, except that the toes are doubleknit, for extra warmth...and I think it looks nicer, too. Plus I can put a contrast heart on the sole without much effort.

They're made of baby alpaca (brown) and alpaca/silk (green) yarn.I wove in a piece of narrow clear elastic at the ankle, since alpaca has minimal elasticity.

The yarn is left over from the afghan, the design is my own.

Gumpaste figurine & booties for babyshower toppers. Baby can be customized (hair color, bow or flower added, diaper, color coordinated blanket etc.). booties can be custom colored as well.

I was fresh here with maybe 20 miles or so under my belt..

Never really gave it much thought about the view from above…

Maybe next summer I should don a pair of board shorts while cooling my heels…

NOT!!!…

Just buckets of SPF 50...

Handmade baby booties made from a selection of fabrics (including a groovy flowery pillowcase purchased from a charity shop). The strap is printed cotton tape which is fastened with a press stud. the strap is finished off with a sweet little felt flower. This is a great way to use up those precious scraps of fabric left over from larger projects. This is going to be my entry in the michael miller baby bootie contest.

Which is better? Baby Booties 1 or 2?

Stay-on Baby Booties from Knitgirl's Mother

Here are the baby booties in progress -- I've finished knitting the one on the left, and am about halfway through knitting the second one.

Boy, am I ever a bad Flickrer lately. THese booties are actually from 2010--They were my Christmas present to Amelia. They still fit her, after I cut a slit to help her bigger feet get into them. They look super cute on!

Knit for my grandson Carter due October 2009

The most popular shoes are the high heel booties studded with gems, gold, and anything sparkling in-between.

You certainly wonder how they can perform dance and stage stunts with these booties heels. Women look so attractive donning high heel booties. They get few extra inches in height and look stunning from head to toe.

Tammy made a pair of Baby booties for a friend of her sister who is having a baby soon. She specifically wanted a pair of fish booties (a design tammy has done before). To keep it unique and fresh Tammy decided to do it with a varigated yarn.

The knit pattern flat before sewing it up.

These are some adorable Teeny Booties that I knit for my friend who is about to give birth. I wanted a simple embellishment abd the flet flowers turned out soooo cute! Squeeeee! I used the Erica Knight pattern from her simple knits book. SO easy. Makes you look like a knitting superstar with very little effort. They are made with Koigu Kersti merino wool mixed with a thread of Silk Kid Haze Mohair. Flowers are wool felt.
