Booties knitted with our farm DK Shetland wool and with my first experimental onion skin dyed batch. The actual yellow is brighter than the photo, and the shetland natural colour is more brown.
Downstairs Boots & Booties (aka the ones I wear more often): The North Face boots are for when it's really snowy (or hiking in the snow or shoveling the snow, etc.), the nice brown boots are my "nice boots". I haven't worn them much since WFH started. The dark gray booties are what I wear most of the time when leaving the house in the winter.

A pic from the archives, of the booties my mother made for my daughter before she was born, for the new Baby Shoes group.
Completely engaged in the activity of selling kiosk merchandise, this vendor is unaware of his sexy, denim-covered ass.
At the belated baby shower today - held by his daddy (our friend at work)

For babies grow up, we've learned to our sorrow
So quiet down, cobwebs
Dust, go to sleep
I'm rocking my baby, and babies don't keep.

booty from apache reclamation, the best place on earth!
Two 5" OD grease packed brand new bearings for $10 apiece. So smooth! Will make a great fork-mount for my telescope.
$10 for the thrust bearing, really tight but loosens up under load. Maybe needs degreased and relubed. Should make a good base bearing for the fork mount.
And a nice huge iron core transformer for turning into a filament transformer for the electron microscope project. I win!
