No, I'm not talking about a reason to visit a proctologist. I'm talking about this huge collection of gold and other treasures accumulated by a pirate who, sadly, didn't live long enough to enjoy it. It's one of several scenes that make the original Disneyland version of Pirates of the Caribbean much longer (and a bit better) than the cheap knock-off in Walt Disney World.

The 1-Hour Baby Booties from SnBN. These took more than an hour, as it was the first time I'd ever done short-row shaping. (But I've done others since, and they really do take an hour or less once you understand what's going on.) Knit for Samantha Martin, March 2005. The yarn is Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride Bulky in cream. I dyed some of it with Kool-Aid for the straps-- it was supposed to be purple, so I'm not sure how it came out seafoam green, but I liked it.
