I needed a pattern for baby booties in worsted-weight yarn, and wanted it to be simple because it was my first knitted footwear project. This pattern was easy to make and looks cute, but I suspect they are way too big for a newborn! The size is as stated in the book, so it's my fault for not checking, but still... I'm hoping perhaps he fits into them before he starts walking.
