Today is a green day at Color my World Daily and we all need vitamins. So why not an orange, egg and lemon mix to boost our vitamins intake. And since I have a very busy day ahead (with some major laundry folding, vacuuming and a 10km run) I will need the extra energy and motivation for sure!!

Promoters of Echinacea believe it boosts the immune system. Seeing these first thing on a dewy morning certainly boosted my mood even without ingesting any of it.

Another sight I simply couldn't walk by without lifting my camera. The heritage museum - replica of old Danish town and one of its recreated buildings - this one looks like a bike shop.

I spotted this Red-Tailed hawk on a tree branch, concentrated on its prey moving in the grass at the edge of an irrigation canal. Hawks usually fly away when they spot someone from far away. This time the prey seemed to have mesmerized the hawk. That gave me time to close in and hide behind the next tree’s trunk when the hawk decided to strike, disapearing in the tall and dense grass. I layed down low and waited for movement. He finally showed up with whatever was left of a vole or mole.

There are a lot of Blythes to name here! They are Tsumori Spirit, Cadence Majorette, Yellow Marshmallow (Middie), Cream Cheese and Jam, Fighting Milk Saranghae, and Cool Pool Lemonade (Middie). The background is a poster. I found the elephant at the antique mall. For “Confidence Boost” and Animal Kingdom”.
Oxidation on a steel plate cross cut made by flame cutting. Of course the colours were well boosted.

I just returned from Johannesburg yesterday morning after an exciting 4 days...
Angelique and I departed Cape Town by train (Shosholoza Meyl) from Bellville station on Wednesday 2009/07/08 @ 13:00 for what ended up being a 35 hour train journey up to Jo'burg. This image was captured on Wednesday eveing @ 18:05 when the train was delayed for 4 hours in the region of Tulbagh due to some sort of power interruption. Prior to this delay we had already been delayed an hour at a time in Klapmuts & Paarl respectively due to a faulty engine unit – It was quite an adventure... Here Angelique is standing in the doorway with only the spotlight above providing illumination.

No noise reduction applied here with only sharpness bumped up 1 notch in RAW processing. Other than that I added minimal Yellow saturation boost to give it a little more punch...

4th gear, 100mph, 18psi... I can't stoppppp!
This is NOT a Photoshop effect. The image was actually taken at a very safe pace with 1" shutter speed. I took about 50 pictures and most of them turned out okay, but I really like this one because the pretty red truck I was passing really gives a great sense of motion. The camera was mounted on a tripod in my car, and the shot was taken with a remote in my hand.

Imaged the Heart Nebula located in the constellation Cassiopeia. This has been a lower priority target for me in the past but got bumped up once I went mono. I'm glad I was able to get a decent shot of it this year. My camera and scope combo give a good FOV on this faint target. Oiii was extremely faint, but luckily good narrowband processing techniques can mask that well.
Total exposure time for this image is: 29 hours.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is a 2022 adult anime show by Studio Trigger. The show premiered in Netflix and, with only 12 episodes, it overtook the community by storm. The series itself is a prequel to the 2020’s Cyberpunk 2077 videogame and takes place in the same setting, Night City. The anime was so successful that it even sparked a renewed interest in the videogame and greatly boosted its sales.
Rebecca is a full-chromed gal that is part of David’s Edgerunner gang. This short-sized (and short-fused) lady excels in ranged combat and can be seen wielding weapons decorated in her signature style, with flashy pink & green decorations. Becky’s signature weapon is the Guts Shotgun, which can now be found in the videogame thanks to an official DLC.
As soon as I finished watching Edgerunners, I jumped to build her. Best choom ever.
