Hello my amazing Flickr friends !
Today is a green day at Color my World Daily and we all need vitamins. So why not an orange, egg and lemon mix to boost our vitamins intake. And since I have a very busy day ahead (with some major laundry folding, vacuuming and a 10km run) I will need the extra energy and motivation for sure!!

I have no idea what this plant is but tucked into the bushes, the reddish leaves caught my attention. In this HSS edit, I've emphasized the shadowy branches I was shooting through and boosted a few sliders in LR to deepen the colors! Hope everyone has a Happy Sliders Sunday!

Saint-Jorioz es una ciudad de Haute-Savoie, en la región de Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes, a unos diez kilómetros al sur de Annecy.
El territorio del municipio de un área de 21 km² se encuentra parcialmente en las montañas medias y altas, limita al oeste con el macizo de Semnoz que se eleva a 1660 m de altitud y al este con la orilla oeste del Lago de Annecy (443 m sobre el nivel del mar).
Habitado desde el Neolítico, vestigios de aldeas a orillas del lago que fueron descubiertos en la década de 1980, el sitio está atravesado por una vía romana en la antigüedad, pero una primera aldea no se desarrolló realmente en el siglo IX con el establecimiento de un priorato

Composed of many villages, the town that lived until then from agriculture and fishing became industrialized with the establishment of tileries that did not cease their activity until 1953. Meanwhile, Saint-Jorioz which belonged to the Duchy of Savoy has been attached to France in 1860.
The proximity of Annecy and the development of tourism related to the lake and the winter sports resorts that surround it during the second half of the 20th century boost the demography of the city, which now numbers almost 6,000 inhabitants.
Its beach, its port, its leisure linked to its preserved environment make Saint-Jorioz, which belongs to the Massif des Bauges Regional Natural Park, a step or a popular tourist destination.

I took a few days around the New Moon to find some dark night skies. The foothills of the Eastern Sierra always promise dark, since they block out the light pollution from the highly populated west side of California. The experience under a brilliant night sky is usually for me a renewal of spirit. On this trip though, it was WINDY. Stumbling around in the dark and wind was definitely not exhilarating but I still made the effort. So, this is not what it may appear - not the peace and serenity of the falling creeks I found in the daytime around the area. There was so much potential for the Milky Way reflected in the pond, but it's pretty much just shimmering in the rippled water. I might add I used a sandbag to weight the tripod. Didn't bother with my lights I usually use for a little foreground boost.

The vast majority of the range lies in the state of California, although the Carson Range spur lies primarily in Nevada. The Sierra Nevada is part of the American Cordillera, an almost continuous chain of mountain ranges that forms the western "backbone" of the Americas.
Just down the road apiece is that 14er, the highest peak in the Lower 48, Mount Whitney.
Not to confuse anyone, the mountains here are not the Sierra Nevada but the range to the East of the Sierra and Owens Valley, likely these are the tail end of the White Mountains.

What's the deal with that pink fringe around the power plant? I have no idea. Share your theories below. I boosted saturation in post, (not a lot, but some), and did contrast masking in Photoshop.

There are a lot of Blythes to name here! They are Tsumori Spirit, Cadence Majorette, Yellow Marshmallow (Middie), Cream Cheese and Jam, Fighting Milk Saranghae, and Cool Pool Lemonade (Middie). The background is a poster. I found the elephant at the antique mall. For “Confidence Boost” and Animal Kingdom”.

This is Market Street in the centre of the small market town of Carnforth in the north of Lancashire. The A6 - the old London to Scotland road - runs through the town centre. This part of Lancashire has a ready supply of limestone, which is an important component in iron making. The rail link from Carnforth to the Furness area (where Iron Ore was mined) helped to boost the industry, and Carnforth became an important railway junction. Sadly, the West Coast mainline trains no longer stop here.
Taken on the night before Christmas with both the light side and dark-side a stack of 100 images. The saturation is boosted because its Christmas so why not.

The vitamin boost doesn't just apply to grapes and tomatoes. Photography often gives me a positive boost (and sometimes a bit frustation when things don't work out well). So now I'm curious what gives you positve energy?

Shadow
I was enjoying a photowalk put on by @BeauPhotoStore in Vancouver and sponsored by @Ilfordphoto. We had to shoot photos on a number of themes throughout the walk. This one was “shadow”. I saw the interesting shadow created by the bent aluminum siding on this old building. This was captured with a Leica M6 and Ilford FP4 film plus an orange filter to boost contrast.
