It's short, but oh well.

Anyways, I as tagged again by the great Holly Collings!

1. I haven't washed my hair in about a week; i know it has to be summer.

2. I got my first sunburn yesterday! It's painful, but everyone has to get their first 2010 sunburn eventually.

3. I'm planning to go barefoot all summer.

4. I start Drivers d. tomorrow morning at 9am-12am. I'm not too thrilled to wake up at 8:30am though..

5. I have two marks that people know me for which are: my freckle on my lower lip that gets larger in size in the summer, and my mole on my upper right thigh. I like my marks a lot.

6. Somedays I wish that clothes were not an option. Not that I'd like to see everyone naked, because trust me I don't. But i wish we could just wear Avatar clothing all the time, and no shoes. I think that's a better choice sometimes.

7. I feel like everyone should atleast try to keep a hott body. No one likes a lazy blob who has 90% body-fat, and no muscle. Atleast that's my preference.

8. I like interesting, nice, good-looking boys. I have a crush on one, but he already has a girlfriend, and I don't know why he had to pick her. She's not that great!

9. I kinda quit on art and reading... i guess i should get back to that.

10. Today i went to a Keys Baseball game. I was walking out to my dad's car to get my camera (which I then found out that i left at home!) and the other baseball team was getting off their bus. Every one of them checked me out (that's what my friend told me atleast). Hah, that boosted up my self-esteem.

Among the images in this "Cleaning my Hard Drive" series (I'll come up with a clever name later but right now that's all that's coming to me) this one is my personal favorite. I'm looking forward to ordering a poster version of it and it is being added to my online gallery of fine art images for sale.

Thank you again to everyone for sharing their honest thoughts and opinions regarding this series of images. There's one more in this series and then I will sharing all of the new stuff I've been working on lately. Happy Sunday and have a great day!

We drove all the way up to this snakerun today at this abandoned ski resort. Took us an hour to actually find the snakerun but it when we did, i was so overwhelmed. It's one of the coolest things i have ever seen in my life. I would have never expected CT to have something like this.

Now, like everyone else I would be reluctant to admit that I get persuaded to buy consumer products as a result of advertising or sponsorship. But on the way home, an hour or two after I took this, I stopped for some petrol (or gasoline) and needed a snack as I hadn't eaten anything for several hours, since breakfast....and guess what I picked up off the shelf???

Natural light from a dying sun ... no processing, other than slight boost of contrast.

A butterfly lands on a fresh supply of compost from an In-Vessel Composter that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) helped Terry and Gail Small with, to dispose of daily poultry mortality; a process that produces a pathogen free compost product that can then be applied to the land according to the nutrient management plan, Hector AR, on June 26, 2019. The purpose of this composter is to reduce the impact of pollution on surface and groundwater and reduce odor. Even in the event of a power outage, the process continues in the safety of its large long horizontal plastic container. The ingredients are simple, for every bucket of chicken, in goes a bucket of wood shavings.

Inside, an internal drum with spiral blades rotates very slowly mixing, moving and aerating the mixture. The natural process brings the interior temperature to120-125 degrees Fahrenheit. At the end, the compost is slowly expelled -- ready to use. The producer is then able to use it in fields or sell it.

The Smalls work with NRCS District Conservationist Joe Tapp and Agricultural Engineer Britt Hill on their conservation plan that includes this mortality facility.

NRCS has a proud history of supporting America’s farmers, ranchers, and forest landowners. For more than 80 years, we have helped people make investments in their operations and local communities to keep working lands working, boost rural economies, increase the competitiveness of American agriculture, and improve the quality of our air, water, soil, and habitat.

As the USDA’s primary private lands conservation agency, we generate, manage, and share the data, technology, and standards that enable partners and policymakers to make decisions informed by objective, reliable science.

And through one-on-one, personalized advice, we work voluntarily with producers and communities to find the best solutions to meet their unique conservation and business goals. By doing so, we help ensure the health of our natural resources and the long-term sustainability of American agriculture.

Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC) is the Department’s focal point for the nation’s farmers and ranchers and other stewards of private agricultural lands and non-industrial private forest lands. FPAC agencies implement programs designed to mitigate the significant risks of farming through crop insurance services, conservation programs and technical assistance, and commodity, lending, and disaster programs.

The agencies and service supporting FPAC are Farm Service Agency (FSA), NRCS, and Risk Management Agency (RMA).
