One of the last photos I took on the D300, testing out the 50mm f/1.4D lens I got for the D750. It takes beautiful photos on the D300 too.
The photo is cropped to improve framing (and because I didn't shoot it as a properly composed photo, I was just testing the bokeh).
i just got 1,300 view on my page! may not be much! but its a great mile stone!! thanks to all who have looked through my pictures!! it's litte things like this that keep me motivated!! :D
The bokeh on this was great to begin with, then I added a texture by A. Brunas. Thanks Angelique for your wonderful texture packages - they are such fun to work with!

Quick bokeh shot with the 18-200mm VRII, not that bad at this sort of stuff in the right conditions.
These where set up as part of a test todo with work to understand how the lights interact with objects.
The ultimate idea was/is to recreate something in CG with little lights but add a twist of somekind :)
We are traveling in the Eastern Sierras this week with our grandson and internet connection has been really hit and miss... this is a picture of the Aspen at June Lake.... it is so beautiful.
