This was a new year decoration in Taksim, with more than thousand led lights on it, it was like a bokeh heaven.
There is also a version which I modified in photoshop, made more colorful: www.flickr.com/photos/buraksoysal/3220392448/

Spending a little while with battery powered christmas lights taped up on my door. The shapes were achieved by cutting shaped holes in thick card and holding it in front of the lens.
Photograph of a Heineken beer bottle in front of a football game for @dailyshoot #ds426 - Take a photograph of two complementary objects arranged to show their relationship to each other.
Was supposed to go on a photowalk today with friends but got snowed out.
So what could make a Saturday better than a beer and a football game? (that was a rhetorical question :)
DIY softbox at the right; 430 EX on camera, pointed at ceiling & zoomed to 105mm; 1/50s, f/16 (to get some detail from the TV), ISO 400, 135mm.
I was fiddling around with my camera in manual focus and for the very first time I was able to get a very nice bokeh! Woohoo!

When my oldest was 5, she helped my dad plant this tree in my parent's front yard. Every year, it flowers so beautifully, and it's shape is just perfect...
I can't believe that this tree is 15 years old already...
look at the small dots of bokeh... they are so round and perfect. The rain on the windshield blurred the top bokeh circles... but they work with the lower ones. I think this is my fav... bokeh shot... because I see this from an artistic point of view.
This is my favourite shot from that morning. the shallow DOF from my 50mm makes it look almost like an oil painting.
I am taking a photography class and our assignment is depth of field, both shallow and deep depth of field, this is is one of my attempts at shallow. This is untouched other than the name.

Blurry... Bokeh...Buzz... unclear yet sometimes more soothing than the harsh clarity.
A static buzz, a soothing numbness...
Early morning sun near the flower market, the subtle red is the bunch of red roses.
Love the angled rays of the sun, creates miracles when it falls of objects. (Like even my lens (-: )
Happy Bokeh Wednesday!
