The little girl flipped the switch and swoooosh!

The world was filled with bokeh :-D

I brought my long lens to Central Park looking for opportunities to create bokeh balls in the background. This squirrel scampered onto a rock near me and helpfully stopped in good light with tree leaves and the sky in the background.

112 Pictures in 2012 #7 - Rainy Day

"Oh Christmas Bokeh, Oh Christmas Bokeh, how lovey are your Bokeh balls..."

Christmas tree completely out of focus and shot with a 50mm f1.4 Super-Multi-Coated Takumar. It's yellow tint to the glass seems to have messed with the colors quite a bit in this image.

Yashica 108 MP - Zeiss Planar 50mm f1.7 iso 100 - Fujicolor 100

Hat pins in Gloucester Docks Antiques Centre - shot wide open on a hand held macro lens in poor interior light.

Yes, it was super wet and rainy the day I took this shot, but the rain make everything look shiny and awesome, so I didn't mind.

Shot at ISO 4000 but since the D800E is superb when it comes to reducing noise I had to add extra in NX2.

Fujian 35mm F1.7 CCTV

As you can see this is my little Seat Arosa (good looking little car isnt it), and in the background is my Renault Laguna...

A bit bluer and blurrier than the previous version.

12 shot Bokeh Pano - missed focus slightly but still sort of like it

I use bokeh layers all the time, so I thought I could use some of my own!

waiting in my car for the decisive rainy-morning-shopper-running-with-umbrella capture. shooting bokeh for the flickrites to kill time.

When my oldest was 5, she helped my dad plant this tree in my parent's front yard. Every year, it flowers so beautifully, and it's shape is just perfect...

I can't believe that this tree is 15 years old already...
