Bokeh Project
This was so easy to take, seeing as everywhere I turned there was lights surrounding the place! I felt like it wasn't even night when I snapped this.
Here's to the bright colorful lights hung on house windows, cheerful smiles from strangers, overload of bokeh photos. Here's to the Starbucks holiday cups, never ending Christmas movies on television, continuous Christmas songs on 96.5. Here's to the bear hugs from old friends and kisses from loved ones.
I'm really sad that the holidays are over ):
Another whole year to go before the Christmas season arrives again...

I used to have these flowers planted around my pool back in Alabaster and looked forward to them during the summer while out there playing. These were found at the San Antonio Botanical Gardens. I played with the tones a bit in lightroom. Fun!

Thats us got two Christmas trees decorated only one more to go but I think we've run out of lights so it'll have to be a trip out to the shops to get more!
This is the beam from a 150mw laser across my living room. Its amazing how much dust is floating in the air.
This laser module is very powerful, you can actually feel heat when the beam is on your hand. It would without doubt cause damage to ones eyes !
Tubas!
On my lunch break/photo hunt today I heard a marching band and followed the music to our central square. It was filled with the orange and black outfitted Oregon State University band playing for the lunch crowd.
"Good morning, Earth, how was rest last night?"
"... What rest?"

Earth Hour was held last night.
Mum, dad and I dozed off in the living room in the dark... unintentional doze, rather.
As for the neighbours that didn't have their lights off, they were probably playing another 5 rounds of mahjong, decided that they must read the papers at that hour only to catch up on the usual political news, or just had the sudden urge to sew on a loose button.
So much of an urge that it felt like an itch on the back that you can't scratch.
