My Group Learning assignment this month is indoor photography and as it's Christmas season I did a little session trying to get some bokeh with the tree lights. This little ornament is one of my favourites, given to me a few years ago.
I used a tripod, 50mm lens, f/1.4, 1/5, iso 200, exp comp -0.33

Five years ago, I was so shitty at photography that I literally pasted a silhouette of myself onto a more bokeh'd out photo of my family's Christmas tree. (view that disaster here: www.flickr.com/photos/acrosstariddledskies/6537995373/in/...)
I have been trying and trying to get the gorgeous male hummingbird at the feeder in front of the sliding door to no avail, but I did get this juvenile the other day, I love the bokeh on this shot too!
I am so far behind on commenting, spending a lot of time outside these days, there is always something to do in the garden and the weather has been perfect for about a week now.
Just because I'm a sucker for bokeh and I can actually make some with my new camera haha.
