Another busy day unfortunately, took these next to my desk while taking a break from job applications.
Wanted to explore the little pendants that hang right next to my desk. I liked the blurred bokeh at the window though looking at the photo on my monitor, I wished I had pushed the exposure just a bit higher. I could do it in post but I also want to remind myself to try and get it right in camera.
I was trying to get a more intense bokeh than here but I settled with this!
We were zipping along a country road in Lancashire when I noticed a flash of colour out of the corner of my eye. Parking the car and investigating, we found a field of flowers being grown for sale. The farmer (they tend not to be the most welcoming to photographers} gave us permission to take shots of his great harvest and carried on tending his glorious sun-flowers.

Because not-so-good stats from flicker i can't track back where all the traffic of this days (500view/days) comes...if you can help me in comments was appreciated.
Pick your own face-keh! ;))
Last Friday, I got stuck in traffic for two hours at the NY Thruway in the Bronx. As I approached a tunnel, I saw these 'bokeh faces' on my rain soaked windshield.
Taken with a Nikon D90 and nikkor 50mm f1.4D prime lens on manual setting, manual focus and no filter.
Bokeh courtesy of headlights, taillights and light from the end of the tunnel. Faces courtesy of the raindrops on the windshield. ;))

Welcome to the small nature! Where the small details are important, because they are beautiful, interesting and playing the big part in the nature.
There's a tree down the street with these all over it. I love them. Picked one off while on my walk and put it in my pocket with the intention of taking this photo.
Saved.
Now it is sitting on my bookshelf amongst my framed photos. Little pieces of lovely.
