I haven't done this for a while. After Frankfurt Bokeh Lights and Cologne Bokeh Lights this is Budapest Bokeh Lights. In the background you can see the roundabout and the chain bridge as from my previous upload as well as the parliament of Hungary and the Danube.
I am almost finished with my Budapest series now. I only have one or two images left that I want to upload for right now. I am not sure what's up next. I will decide spontainously on the weekend :-)

This is the bloom from a Magnolia tree at the entrance to my home. There are three lovely trees on the property and all are in full bloom. The fragrance of the blooms is wonderful and fills the air with a "delicious" aroma.

From a visit up to the Farne Islands last week.
This was placed 2nd in this week's Wex Photographic 'Wex Mondays' competition, which was nice!

Nikon D750 / Nikon 70-200 f/4 & 1.4x Teleconvertor / 1/4000th f/5.6 / ISO800
The pleasing or aesthetic quality of out-of-focus blur in a photograph, usually with a fast prime lens wide open. While in live view, I shot this by mistake, clicking the shutter before the camera had finished focusing. Not recommended to do it that way!
So I decided to try another bokeh pano and this time at night. I did it as a bracket so instead of just 12 shots, this is 36 shots but I didn't realize until I got home and stitched it together that I needed another row up top.
I also should have brought my 85mm 1.8 and shot it at 1.8 for a better effect. I guess I've been out of the bokeh pano game too long to have remembered because I dont know why I shot this at f3.2. But oh well, I'm going to start bringing my 85mm again so I can try it again on some more statues around the hub.

While testing my Trioplan for bubble bokeh, a Mini Cooper passed by in the background producing two big globes of bokeh. It thought that was interesting.

Sun, -12 degrees and sparkling snow. Perfect weather for shooting, the drawback is that your hand freezes no matter how hard you try to keep them warm.
Smile on Saturday - Catch the Bokeh
Ein Ahornblatt, vom Wind bewegt, wurde immer mal kurz vom Licht gestreift und weckte so meine Aufmerksamkeit.
Es mutet wie eine herbstliche Fotografie an, ist aber Anfang Mai aufgenommen bei einem Spaziergang im Hamburger Treppenviertel.
So finally Spring came during the last weekend but iy only lasted the time to take few shots. We are going to have a rainy week, but this is great for me, since I have to study for my Construction exam, until friday (and I must say that this preparation is really freaking me out!).
