I posted a similar picture a couple of months ago. That version had a different Buddha and was taken outdoors against a backdrop of flowers. This version was taken indoors; to create the bokeh I used some sheets of scrunched up tin foil as a backdrop.

I am a firm believer that it's not the gear that matters more but rather one's creative vision. However, sometimes, special tools offer the visionary photographer more creative possibilities. And here's one of those situations wherein I used the TILT function of my TS-E lens to move the plane of focus away from the subject plane. How I wished the clouds moved a little bit faster on that evening but weather is something that is beyond our control.

Have a nice Sunday to all!
