I just loved the bokeh....

Macro Mondays: "Handle"

The handle of my favorite cooking skillet. The handle is 20 cm (8 inches) long and the pan is 25 cm (10 inches) in diameter.

This image is about 7 cm (2.75 inches) on the long edge.

100% bokeh - red cone on fluorescent Christmas gift wrap paper

Happy Bokeh Wednesday everyone :-)

10-25-09 highest position in explore 433! Thanks everyone :-)

Colourful autumn leaves and bokeh in Woodthorpe Park. A nice bonus with the 12-40mm is that it is able to focus at a short distance, only a couple of inches away from the hood. Click on image for a larger view. E-M1/12-40mm.

These are the Bokeh rings I got from a slightly out of focus piece of chain. With their varied shape and size these could well be soap bubbles - the colour must come from a multicoloured gift bag I had on the table-top.

Dedico ao meu amigo Wagner Mello, que me ensinou algumas técnicas sobre bokeh! :)

He did not introduce himself, but they stay down by the pond. Hope they lay some eggs. and have even littler ones soon!

Fine silver chain frill lit with a powerful led spotlight.

Crawling around in the wet grass this morning. :)

Past a stone-arch reminiscent of what one would see at the Angkor Wat is this lovely garden. Inside are bridges, beautiful flowers, and these stone lamps. One can take thousands of different photos in this garden alone, and instead of being overwhelmed with the scenery I focused on this lamp - its textures tell a rich tale of what its been through, the rest of the background is just a beautiful blur.

Wine and city lights.

Natural lighting was just perfect, for this shot.

In every section of the pine cone there is a seed. Abundance indeed.
