A Blue-throated Barbet (Megalaima asiatica) was framed perching on its favourite branch while eyeing every opportunities for the taking. It was a difficult situation under shady condition and high level object but somehow I managed it to frame with sweet notes. The backdrop was well lighten but the subject was in shades. But the beauty of a Nikon Prime bokeh made this stand out in every aspect. The sweet colour tones and the ornamental arrangements of bokeh were the signature of Nikon exotic Prime for sure. Pics was taken from a garden in Kolkata, W.B., India.

Was planning to shoot bokeh. In my last upload, one of my friend Seny suggested me to use soda so as to capture bubbles. I wanted the liquid in the previous shot to be juice or something plain. But my frnds suggestion gave me an Idea! "Why not shoot bubbles and bokeh??"..It also sounds good..:P. Hence shot this one. Seny, "bubbles"..:P.. Hope you guys like it..

J'ai trouvé ce lot de cure-dents multicolores tellement attrayant que je n'ai pas pu résister à l'idée de faire de la macro en mouvement.

Taken on a Canon EOS 5D Mark 3 DSLR coupled to a vintage M42 mount Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar 2/58 (Silver semi-automatic preset version with 10 blade aperture). An M42 9mm extension tube incorporated. Shot hand-held @ 2.0 with reflected side-lighting utilized. Apart from RAW conversion and the most basic of edits, image taken as is. I love my Biotar..
