While up at the high school one afternoon to pick Anna up, I saw some huge turkey vultures circling above the trees and some roosting on a huge water tower. I put on my 70-300mm lens to capture them and upon my return to the car, saw these berries hanging from a tree.The shot could have been better if I'd had my camera set on fine mode, but it is what it is... I can always go back and photograph them again. I don't know what kind of berries they are... but they were the only source of color for miles around, I'm sure! Hope you enjoy them! HBW Friends! ♥

The bokeh in this shot happens to be long blades of ornamental grass. I loved how they looked like rays of sunshine after the rain. Except for a small crop it is SOOC (mostly due to lack of time this week).

桜も何年も撮りに行くが

これが正解といえる撮り方はまだ見つけられない。

ソメイヨシノは枝に固まって花をつけるので

案外重い感じになりそうに思うが、

その柔らかく薄い桃色がその印象を弱めてくれる。

どうしても花見の見物客が多いので、

一枝をクローズアップしがちだが、

もっとバリエーションを付けたいものだ。

Lo so.... la gondola non è perfettamente a fuoco... uno scatto difficile, mentre i gondolieri le sistemavano per la notte e quindi sempre in movimento! Ma mi piaceva tanto il bokeh, quindi la carico lo stesso!

Apparently, I have a thing for red flowers lately. LOL I bought a small orchid plant yesterday to take pictures and ended up snapping the stem on accident. Luckily I was able to fix them slightly and get some pictures.

This was taken with a desk lamp for direct light though this particular flower wasn't getting as much of the light and then flash for the background to help light that up.
