Saw this on the DPS forum and it came into my head while I was racking my brain for my 'Tunnel' entry for the BlueDog weekly comp. First attempt which I was quite happy with. Looking forward to trying it again with different pattern.

"And it just happens that *all* of my moments have a blue dog in them." - George Rodrigue

Most asked question:

"What kind of dog is she?"

Best intuitive answer, from a little girl:

"Mommy, look! A blue dog!!!"

Was at the Blue Dog Cafe and saw this sculpture hanging near by. I didn't want to use a flash, as a) many places discourage it and b) a singer was performing close by and I didn't want to distract him.

So, used this as an opportunity to try different settings on the camera. This is the 'best' in terms of obtaining about the colors.

By the way, the Blue Dog Cafe has very good food and displays (but does not sell) a number of George Rodrigue's work.

looking towardsTaree, the regrowth had been cut down, now slot made to get through in this direction. Slowly getting it all cleared for better VHF takeoff to VK2 north coast and vk4 directions.

Jake is home, the surgery went well. Now we just have a few months of healing time!

His little fenced off area looks huge in this picture but it's not really. He has enough room to get off the bed and get a drink of water but that's about it. The bed is large enough for him to sprawl out in whatever fashion he desires.

Lela: OMG don't take my photo!! *eyes tightly shut*

that is sooo not his ball

Such a pretty girl

I got a new scarf in the mail today from my mom. It's alpaca wool that she dyed, spun, and then knitted into a scarf for me. It's soooo soft!! And I love the seed stitch.

Jake is my happy model -- he is thumping his tail because he likes to "dress up".

The best little pencil sharpener around! And it has suction cups on its feet to keep it in place! Wags its tail and flaps its ears when in use...

Blue Dog's toy. Perhaps I should get him a new one? I wondered what Blue Dog's reaction would be if he came across a snake. We were walking up the back track this morning, Blue Dog 20 meters in front of me when a good size red bellied black reared up, Blue Dog leaped back and came to my call. Good dog. I travelled the same route on my own later and said snake was still there, I eventually threw a handful of sand near it to encourage it off the track. Even then it took a while for it to get the message.

Im loving the variants ive come across from many other countries.

How much better is this guy in pastel blue?
