Experimenting a little with procedural content, abstract images, pleasing colors and looks in Blender. Now on my own without any tutorials.
I think this one is nice to look at.
This is a Blender file created by Steve Lund of CGGeek. I originally saw his tutorials on YouTube, and joined his Patreon group. I would like to be able to create works like this, but I wanted to see how stereo friendly they were first. Blender has a steep learning curve, and I needed to taste the end result right off.
Crossview
Taken with a Lomo LC-W camera. The LC-W (wide) has a 17mm lens, and can take half frame, square or full frame images depending on which of three film plane masks is installed. It is also possible to take overlapping photos by using the half-frame wind-on, while leaving the full frame mask in place. This results in "blenders" where adjacent frames blend into each other.
The film is Agfa Vista 200 from Poundland, processed in the Tetenal C41 kit.

As it turns out, when I make a scene for a project using Blender it turns out about the same as how I photograph things. To the point where the lens simulator is set to simulate a body + lens combo that I'm already familiar with and the lights are at least subtly colored.
Sorta Neil blender, based on a photo of him atleast.
I haven't sat down and done a whole painting in forever.
(It's cause my roomate is at his mom's house :P)

Concrete is a mixture of cement, sand (fine aggregate), small stones or gravel (coarse aggregate) and water.
the quality of concrete (strenght) closely depends on the ingredients doses and quantity of water

Put a Mallard, Black duck and what looks like a Blue-Winged Teal in a blender, this is what comes out.

I enjoy my music #abstract (ish) like my #art . . Decim8 combo: Veth + BeamRider + Agency + Fold4Rap5 + Graboid (not really in that order - I moved Agency to the top) > Apps used: Snapseed, Camera+, iColorama, Glaze (my own mixture), Image Blender (always), Pixrl-o-matic

Not LEGO this time, Blender instead.
2.74, Cycles at 750 samples.
I've built some LEGO, and am working on some more, I just don't feel like it's done enough to post.
Soli Deo Gloria!

3D landscapes rendered in Blender, emulating the work of Lee Griggs.
There's a tutorial on how I made these using an image and just a couple of modifiers on my blog: www.cutsquash.com/2014/08/abstract-landscapes-blender/
