Upside down - April 2009 in the garden........ I stood on my head to capture this moment...(kidding)
My first Marco shot! The bleeding heart is a very special flower for me. So needless to say I love this shot! It is so untouched there...the spider webs all around it ...its amazing.
Bleeding Hearts at the bottom of the garden. The COVID-19 restrictions meant I've spent more time in the garden than I did last year, and its only April!

One of the worst parts of training for the Marathon is the chaffing. For your viewing pleasure, here are the results of a 16 mile run: a pair of bleeding nipples.
We have a single Bleeding Heart plant in our backyard and for a few brief days every year, the hearts pour out. And then, they sprout wings and look like diving turtles. Not soon after, the wings woefully whither leaving me heart-broken. Less than an inch (~2cm) in length, they are small fragile little wonders.
This picture is took in the locker room in RPAC after workout. I felt a little pain when running but I think it's not a big deal. But when I get socks off, it was a big deal. it seems that once the nail got too long and squash the other toe, it's bleeding and I got hurt. I cut the nails and rest for a day. It's important to me because it reminds me to cut nails regularly.Actually the big toe is also come with the same reason but a inner bleeding. It also reminds me how much time I spent at there.

We meet for a moment and then it's goodbye but I just lived a lifetime with you in my mind.
David Vendetta - Bleeding Heart lyrics
Well, the solitary bleeding heart bloomed after all, spilling out it's blood-red blossom and stretching out it's stamen and anthers..
Had to. That's what it was born to do, and it does it very well..
But, better hurry little blossom. Even here on the Gulf Coast, the time is passing quickly for blooming and cavorting with the bees. Soon the rain will be cold and the wind won't be content to rock the boughs so gently..
