The botanical name of this beautiful plant is Lamprocapnos spectabilis or Dicentra spectabilis, but I think it's common name, which is "Bleeding Heart" is much better!

This picture was taken in our back garden earlier this week.

The eye is the window to the soul, all life's complexities spill out.

Same field just west of Columbus,Ohio a few days ago...I have been really lucky on my recent excursions...

Taken this past weekend when exploring campus in search of blooming plants and trees.. I was so pleased I found these as they are one of my Spring favorites.
