The company slogan is, "Bitte ein Bit." This is literally, "Please, a Bit," or "a Bit, please." In the 1970s a second slogan was introduced, "Abends Bit, morgens fit" ("Bit in the evening, fit in the morning") implying that the consumption wouldn't lead to a hangover. During that time either of the slogans could be found on Bitburger glasses. [...]
Bitburger is a 4.8% abv Pilsner with annual sales of 1.2 million hectolitres. The popularity of Bitburger extends beyond the local area of Bitburg. Although Germans generally prefer local breweries, it is a popular beer throughout Western Germany, and is favored in many areas of North Rhine Westphalia over even Alt beer or Kölsch, which are popular in Düsseldorf and Köln.

I've been toying with the idea of making my own prayer flags. Raw-edged, meant to unravel bit by woolly bit in the breeze.
I sat behind a sewing machine for the first time in nearly 20 years, and these have been a good bit of play. Something to help me relearn, something small, fun, practice-full. Something to bring me slowly and gently back into the work and world of creating.
Bit of a play on words here ... ☺
Wonder what chive honey tastes like ?
Thank you very much everyone for the favourites and lovely comments ... ☺
I've been a bit uninspired lately, seeing the same scenery on the coast. Needing a fresh injection of inspiration I decided to take a walk with my camera and no preconceived images in my mind. I arrived at Ardrossan Harbour and It was only then I realised, the scenery is forever changing and there are always scenes to shoot. You just got to look for them and be in the right place at the right time and appreciate the beauty of whats around you!

Bit of a strange one this. Living in Beeston, I had decided to make the effort to visit the Clifton side of Beeston Weir. Having made a number of images of the weak sunset, I stood by the water's edge for a moment to ponder my next move. My lack of movement must have given the nearby wildlife some false confidence, and seconds later I heard a rustling in the nearby grass. A tiny mouse ran out, glanced at me, then dashed under a rock. I thought nothing more of it until I began making abstract images of the froth patterns on the surface of the water and was astonished to see one of the froth patterns reveal something that looked a little bit like the mouse that I had just encountered!
Gonna be a bit off the grid for the next few days, working on a film shoot.
I DO live in LA, you know. It's basically a law that anyone living in LA has to spend a little time working for the film industry.
And so I'm out in the streets, 14 hour days, not hard, necessarily, but long. And no naps. I've grown rather used to naps, so this is a major adjustment. They say taking a nap during the day drops your risk of heart attack by a third.
Maybe I should ask for hazard pay.
See y'all next week.
A bit rough and ruffled in appearance, due either to its youth and still growing in mature feathers, or maybe this is how all the Titmice look, I don't know.
Anyway, I'm glad I could capture this posing Tufted Titmouse on the wire perch!
Some more progress has been made. The engine mounts were modified to have a better connection. The airframe has also been flushed out a bit more and is closer to its final form. Right now I'm out of light bluish grey slopes so will be a bit before there is more direct vertical progress. I may skip up to the inter-stage ring or perhaps the warhead/spacecraft. Stay tuned!
bit of a mixed bag, pissed down sat/windy as hell sun...shout to everyone i met and spoke to,especially Beta for organising and inviting and Tea for the lift home...
These are smaller pieces of ice known as “bergy bits” and “growlers.” Bergy bits and growlers can originate from glaciers or shelf ice, and may also be the result of a large iceberg that has broken up. A bergy bit is a medium to large fragment of ice. Amazing to note that the average age of iceberg ice is 10, 000 years.
Ah, well yes it looks a bit like that doesn't it, I'm sure I'll remember where I dropped my whip in a minute lol. But in fact I've been going around a few charity shops and I found this fetish style top in Wolverhampton but it's just one of those stretchy keep away from fire jobs. Nevertheless I'm starting to like it as even though it is a bit small once it warmed up against my skin it has quite a nice sensual feel and puts me in a playful mood which can't be bad. I also bought a couple of new wigs, the exact replacement for my everyday blond look and this bob which I had just put on. I'm sure it will be alright but it's going back into it's box till I'm ready to get to grips with it. Yes if you haven't already guessed Jojo is a bit fussy.
