Equipment options are necessarily restricted due to physical limitations imposed by mobile frame power plants, however a recently hired junior engineer at Phayze Fructification, inc. proposed an innovative solution.

These groups of semi-autonomous assault drones function as discreet combat units slaved to a traditional manned frame. Partnering highly specialized frames with suitable bit clusters helps to compensate for weaknesses or maximize strengths.

I've been chewing on this idea for weeks now, but I just couldn't get my head past the Gundam OO "sword and/or rifle bits" style, which just looked like handheld weapons that fly around on their own. That's cool and all, but at this scale the whole thing just looked... wrong? I don't know, I just didn't like it.

But THEN! Then, I remembered Nanoha's fantastically destructive Blaster Bits (which is weird, because it's been a long time since I saw Striker S) and had a revelation! Sadly, I only have one of those Ninjago Holder Circles at the center of these guys, so after prototyping a few of these ideas in-brick I had to take the idea to LDD for further (and, if I may say, *successful*) exploration.

Even worse, I literally JUST received a bricklink order as I was having this revelation, so it's going to be a while before I get around to making another to get more of those holders. ><

Mechanically, I'd stick 2 bits to a plate and call them a 2-system frame.

Back from the seaside.

:)

A Bit set I have with my tools, if your interested it also has three sockets which fit on the end bit. Tool talk is so technical...........

Mural. Barcelona, Spain. 2012; Technique: graphite, acrylic. In carrying out the realization of the mural, my teammates at Dopludό Collective Karina Eibatova & Lesha Galkin participated.

Hand drawn mural realized in the art influenced Hotel "Bit", located in Barcelona. The drawings are of objects that are very different and unrelated but have as a common denominator the capacity to transmit to the observer the sensation of floating, producing a strange visual effect. To carry out this work, we used a very complex own invented technique.

A bit of a local rarity. The mountains of north Antrim are one of few places this bee can be found in Ireland. Found a couple of new sites (to me at least) for this scarce little bee in the Antrim Hills over the past couple of days.

Bit Sloany but so do wish this was really me.

Better on lightbox!

We set out all happy and cheery this arvo for the meet, but when I opened the suitcase when we got home, this was what greeted me. XD

Guess they weren't happy with being stuck in the suitcase for the long tram right home! :D

Downtown Scottsdale. "Free" horse drawn carriage ride - just leave a generous tip!

Just a few little bits with the woven leaves. The one on the left is six leaves woven together, and stuck onto a stick coming out of the top of the trunk. The one on the right is five leaves, stuck over a prefabricated evergreen tree. It's a bit messy, but sometimes underbrush is...

I waited in for 5 hours, for a home delivery that never arrived!.

I had planned to go out but had to reduce my shopping and browsing outing to a trip to the local Tesco.

For me going out is about being seen and making contact with people to make Trans a seen thing for whomever I come across, in this case the girl at the checkout. I have come across her before, in fact I think most of the checkout boys and girls in my local Tesco have met me now!

I am going out tomorrow, end of week treat for me. I am also looking forward to next week, a couple of trips out; a makeup lesson with a local friend, and then a trip into town to the office! The rest of the week will be gardening and house jobs.

Bit of fun practising in the workshop :-)

Ah! Good to battering each other again..

I'm in the shorts!

These are fragments of the Blue Guard house. The piece in the center represents the Tsar's crown. The Blue Guard was a civilian volunteer unit formed in the 18th century to guard prominent citizens of Riga.

En route home from doing a bit of scouting for possible blossom photography sites I was on the North Service Road at the site immediately adjacent to the Tim Horton’s as well as the ESSO gas station I had photographed a few days ago. The large tract of land on the South shore of Lake Ontario was, for many years, the site of Prudhomme’s motel/hotel and entertainment complex, until a massive first fire in June 1967 signalled the beginning of the end of the complex. A few efforts were made to resurrect the business but, ultimately, a second fire and lack of investment in a proper restoration destined it for the bulldozers and many years of awaiting development. In the past couple of years development finally commenced, albeit somewhat slowly, and the two aforementioned images show the progress to date. Now a bit more work has begun, although the site still looks pretty barren with large concrete blocks and barriers suggesting the future layout. I stopped there during a brief lull in the rain and got this.– JW
