It was not my idea, though I wanted to shoot this frame for a long long time. I have originally seen it here www.flickr.com/photos/natashap/2752980938/ and here www.flickr.com/photos/stevenmerrifield/3315408908/

Me and Tom Beigel shot this at the studio for the exercise.

I just hope I am also capable of taking such photos alone.. :)

Straight from the oven (Thanks to Lizzie for this!)

November 8, 2012 - Mahwah, New Jersey. Red Cross worker Barbara Beigel dresses up as a clown named “Glitter” to bring joy to the children in this Northern New Jersey Red Cross Shelter that is housing victims of Hurricane Sandy from some of the hardest hit areas in New Jersey including Moonachie. Here, she entertains shelter resident Keren Franco, teaching her how to balance a plate on a stick.

We've taken some students on a photography trip to Spitalfields/Brick Lane. But the whole thing was an ordeal. What an appalling day, really exhausted and sick of poor behaviour.

Had planned to do some nice portraits outside the beigel shop and get some lovely shots, but instead, tense and exhausted having to constantly cajole and move on. Didn't get my camera out at all until the end waiting for late returners. Just shot this carved out graphiti on an old warehouse wall. Hideous, Hideous Day. A bad trip (somewhat of an understatement). Pull me out of your crash.... please.

Nom! Was uber delicious. The bagel was fresh, the beef was tender and the saltiness was perfect.

Open 24 hours. Used to get late night bagels here.

Salt beef bagel from the legendary Brick Lane Beigel Bake. Basically they marinade a cow in seawater and then put it in one of their deliciously soft, sweet b(a/ei)gels. There is no escaping the fact that what you are eating is muscle. And it is tender, juicy and utterly fabulous; it took massive restraint to photograph it instead of just shoving it into my face.

These guys are open 24/7, serving devilishly good bagels with salt beef to anyone with an appetite. They're just off Brick Lane in London.
