This is a technique class, where all the beads and equipment is provided in a kit. You will learn lots of ways to add beads to your quilts, including fringes.
Soooo, my mom does all kinda of beadwork annnnd I used to. To get back into the groove I asked her to teach me how to do this beading appliqué stuff. I'm starting with a jellyfish, yay!
I actually made 4 today, but a friend bought one on the spot! I was flattered.
Note to self: Need a white sheet for photographing these colours properly.
Katsucon 2022 Best of Show
A project where I dug into a lot of new techniques. Jacket drafted off a vintage 1980's jacket. Lots of hand beading embellishment. A crazy wig, and of course, making his personalized shoes from scratch. These are my second pair of welted shoes built from scratch.

300 Ws monoblock in square softbox on a boom 40 cm above, dialed down to ~30 Ws. Tilted the softbox to get a nice reflection in the heart.
