I love these gorgeous little lace doilies you find in charity shops, they are simply works of art! By adding a little bead trim they make great jug covers.

I do need to contact the designer at some point.
Sleeve on a dress I made for my mom in 2001. (Yes, it looks upside-down, but that's sort of a matter of which end of a sleeve you think of as "up;" -- at the bottom of the picture is the cuff.) These are very, very loosely based on some 12th century sleeves which you can learn about here.
This design is suitable for plain baju kurung. I hope Puan Asmah happy with my beading work. Congrats on your son convocation.
Easy peasy - 2 bracelets and one necklace in pink and purple
(And the Sunday Post Arts section as a backdrop!)

I didn't know almost-four year olds could handle stringing tiny beads, but this is Em's new favorite past time. She says she's making bracelets for everyone this year. I love this kid!
I decided to get into some beading with my polymer clay. I can't "clay" when I'm visiting Mom, but I can bead!
Czech beads, Japanese beads, crystals, plastic beads, river pearls, ametrins, rubys, artificial leather.
This is the costume I made for the Enchanted Doll birthday contest in 2010. It's based on one of the dolls that the artist made and constructed to fit her. The original doll costume can be seen here: www.enchanteddoll.com/galleries/concubine/concubine.html
Here it's finished, but only has minimal beading around the edges.
The finished product! After months of beading (very intermittently, I was working on it when I was sick in early pregnancy), and after getting suckered into way too much product at the frame store, this is the final result!
