Here is the basic modular slope element. It goes up to 3 bricks and 1 plate height at the back. Slopes can be arranged next to each other, stacked behind each other, opposite each other, etc.
It may sound like I'm protesting too much but I genuinely dont buy too many duplicate Hot Wheels these days, certainly not in the silly numbers I was achieving a few years ago. Continuous price rises, finite space and a new found desire to spend my money on other brands means my purchasing of Mattels favoured diecast range has become more controlled and less excessive.
Yet I find myself still picking up the 2019 Momo recolour of the Datsun Bluebird 510 whenever I see one, not bad for a Case which has only recently arrived in Britain and has yet to become widely available. Ive waited some years for this casting to return to the basic Mainline and although it has indeed been cheapened a little its still a very collectible little classic Japanese saloon. Shock horror I actually prefer it to the Matchbox bedfellow as it isn't lumbered with Rally flavoured add ons such as a loaded roof rack etc...It isn't factory fresh of course but its neat boxy lines arnt as corrupted as the MBX. Having bought a few of these of course means total justification at giving a couple of them the Molotow pen treatment.
Not award winning customisation I'm afraid but adding silver and some black to lights, bumpers and grille have at least given this model a bit more definition!

Unedited single shot of Stella.As most of you have probably noticed I gave Stella a #WinxMagicMakeover, and something I noticed along the way was how much hair Stella had!In comparison to Bloom,Flora and especially Aisha who was so thinly rooted.
While Stella is in fact Blonde,the haircolor Jakks Pacific opted to use for Stella is two shades too platinum!Stella has very vibrant golden blonde hair,I think the only company who got her hair right and show accurate was Mattel.
I like that Jakks opted to accessorizing the girls with headbands/sunglasses,necklaces and jewelry,it just bothers me how much missing detail their is.The shoes are really pretty,and the sculpt is incredibly detailed(same goes for all 4 girls)however it falls flat without any painted detail.
This isn't anything new with Jakks Pacific obviously,they often cut corners,and sometimes to severe degrees(Bloomix anyone?)but I still applaud them for their new hair,makeup and wings!Which in my opinion still remains there strongest point!

Esp. when I add the Nikkor-H 1.8/85 and/or my Tamron SP 2.8-3.8/35-80.
I do onw many more lenses, but those could make the final set. Basically all you need.

Nature is wonderfully coloured by herself and even her simplest tones carrry a charm...
According to Chinese Philosophy ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wu_Xing ) there are five elements interacting in our world: air - water - wood - metal & fire....harmony lies in aquiring a perfect balance between them and my opinion is that this also refers to us as beings and personalities, expressed by our moods and emotions...one should know when to be more soft and when more hard....when to relax and enjoy and when to concentrate....when to be cool as fresh water and when to be passionate like fire...
