I love this fall’s comfy trends: leggings, oversized flannel shirts, puffy vests. Basically, awesome.

I had the chance to catch this moment in the train while this kid was watching me the whole time and his mom passed by.
More basic drawing from my Re-teach-yourself-to-draw in your old age project. It's strange to get back into it, the hardest part is to not fall back into the tricks and cheats I've picked up over the years. It's surprising how many there are when you start looking for them.
BOX DATE: 2015

PERSONAL FUN FACT: This dress was on my 2014 Sisters' Fun Day "Basic" Barbie, when she arrived in the "Wondrous Wellie Wishers Lot." Due to the sheer volume of dolls included in the aforementioned lot, I wasn't able to dedicate a ton of time to investigating this ensemble. After I ruled it out as belonging to one of the gals from the bin, I put it aside in my unidentified clothing case. I knew I had seen it before, on one of those basic type Barbies from the 2010s. But trying to research outfits like this without a stock number can be frustrating. A month later, in March of 2023, we got yet another enormous lot (the "Mountains of Monsters"). I spent a ton of time pouring over a few websites that featured pictures of 2010s Barbies. It was then I identified this dress. My photographic memory had taken a snapshot of this doll before. When I spotted the same image on a website, I knew I had struck gold. The cute little flower design actually reminds me more of clouds. I personally think that the simplicity of this dress makes it stunning...and very classy (but it would be fun to design some gaudy handmade earrings to go with it).

So begins The Great Shadow Leach War! (TGSLW)
These two mech suits offer basic protection and act mostly an army-filler. They come with basic set-ups, basic grey colors, basicly trained shadow leaches, and basic stereo systems.
Here is the basic modular slope element. It goes up to 3 bricks and 1 plate height at the back. Slopes can be arranged next to each other, stacked behind each other, opposite each other, etc.
As bridges is this months competition, I thought I would post the most basic version as something a bit different!
Thanks for looking.

Designed as a basic frame to test new joint styles and proportions. Tried to keep specialty parts to a minimum and allow for a lot of easy changes for customization.
I often get requests for instructions, and while I'm happy to oblige now and then, I usually find it's far more fun to build your own thing, even if it's initially a ripoff of another design. This basic frame should be easy for even smaller collections to put together, and super easy to variate off of to make your own designs. Nothing groundbreaking in the joint tech, but several different styles are used to give a basis for learning/using.

Built with my wife and my son yesterday. Each of us built a MOC and present to each other. This lion was my built.
