For whatever reason, I didn't chase this incredible Illinois Central consist after catching it at Peotone. In retrospect, I should have followed this south on the Mainline of Mid-America until darkness fell.
With SD40X 6071 leading standard IC SD40-2 6072 that late into the CN era, this was a good get.

I'm trying to find the best fit for these ingredients. I made vegetable fried rice with them but I wasn't happy with it. I then made chicken vegetable soup with these ingredients and that was better. And poor Tom is stuck with my constant questioning of his opinion. But I like this photo, so at least that's something.

Luna llena de Octubre saliendo entre las Cuatro torres de Madrid.
De las mas bonitas que he hecho hasta la fecha ( al menos en vivo, espero haberlo captado como se merece...jajaja), al final el cielo se ha aclarado, el viento y las lluvias de estos dĆas han limpiado el aire de contaminaciĆ³n y la atmĆ³sfera estaba muy limpia y nĆtida.
La distancia hasta las torres era de 11,2 km
Como siempre un Ćŗnico disparo con la Nikon d7000 y el Tamron sp 200-500 a 320 mm de focal.

Como estas fotos estƔn condicionadas por la luminosidad de la luna ( si es posible prefiero que no salga quemada ) la foto suele quedar un poco subexpuesta , sobretodo a medida que la luna va ascendiendo y brillando mas.
Procesado bĆ”sico en lightroom, subir un poco la exposiciĆ³n, recuperar sombras, bajar altas luces para recuperar toda la info en la luna, correcciĆ³n de lente y paso a photoshop para trabajar un poco con mĆ”scaras de luminosidad. Por ultimo quitarle el ruido que se habĆa generado al subir la exposiciĆ³n y recuperar sombras....y voilĆ”!

I just bought the new photomatix pro 3.1 and love it. It was the last piece of software I need for my macbook pro. Now I'm set for a little while till I get my reversed gnd and full frame camera! Come on Santa! I've been good this year? =0)
