Opel 1200 at the Oldtimertreffen Bruchhausen-Vilsen..
The 1200 was the basic version of the Rekord P1.
It's been nearly a decade, but here we are... I'm "back" and rediscovering SL. Would love getting to catch up with more people I knew from back in the days. Unlike my inventory the "online" part of my friends list is looking rather empty at the moment. So, if you see this - don't be a a stranger!

West Alligator Head
This is the only secluded coastal beach camping area in Kakadu.
Although suited to those with a real spirit of adventure who enjoy out of the way places it is mainly used by locals for fishing and is rarely visited by travellers.
The turn-off to West Alligator Head is 2 km from the entry station. An 80 km 4WD track through the savanna woodlands brings you to the campground.
There are basic facilities at Pococks Beach but no defined camping areas at Pococks Beach Middle Beach or Jungle Camp.
There is no boat ramp but boats can be launched from the beach. You should note the tidal flat extends out 1.2 km.
Driving on the beaches is prohibited.

Dies ist der einzige abgelegene Strandcampingplatz an der Küste in Kakadu.
Obwohl es für diejenigen mit einem echten Abenteuergeist geeignet ist, die abgelegene Orte genießen, wird es hauptsächlich von Einheimischen zum Angeln genutzt und nur selten von Reisenden besucht.
Die Abzweigung nach West Alligator Head liegt 2 km von der Eingangsstation entfernt. Ein 80 km langer Allradweg durch die Savannenwälder bringt Sie zum Campingplatz.
Es gibt grundlegende Einrichtungen am Pococks Beach, aber keine definierten Campingbereiche am Pococks Beach Middle Beach oder Jungle Camp.
Es gibt keine Bootsrampe, aber Boote können vom Strand aus gestartet werden. Sie sollten beachten, dass sich die Wattfläche über 1,2 km erstreckt.
Das Fahren an den Stränden ist verboten.

Get them just in time for Christmas. I just ordered 2 canvas's myself.
I just bought the new photomatix pro 3.1 and love it. It was the last piece of software I need for my macbook pro. Now I'm set for a little while till I get my reversed gnd and full frame camera! Come on Santa! I've been good this year? =0)
