The photo was taken in 1986 with my analog Nikon FE camera and 35mm slide film roll, and now scanned with Nikon Coolscan film scanner.

Rat Rod seen in a Lowes parking lot in Show Low, Arizona. How can anyone drive this without suffering hearing loss?
I might be a basic witch but at least I am cute! lol!

SS* Basic Witch Coffee - at the Darkness Event Now!
As usual, another night of star trails - but this time I wanted a blend of techniques in a single frame.
I added a bit of life to this abandoned Dodge bus using basic light-painting to bring out the interior glow and highlight the details.
The foreground (bus + landscape) is made from 8 stacked exposures to reduce noise:
ISO 800 / f/2.8 / 75 sec
The star trails are created from 1,200 photos, combined with StarStax:
ISO 800 / f/2.8 / 5 sec / 5 sec interval
In total, the sky exposure adds up to 3 hours and 20 minutes, until clouds finally rolled in and I had to stop shooting.

Nothing wrong in my opinion with a basic 3/4 angle of a good looking subject. Here 611 leads an excursion in April of 2016 from Lynchburg to Spencer.
Why be basic when we can be extra?

The 1200 was the basic version of the Rekord P1.
It's been nearly a decade, but here we are... I'm "back" and rediscovering SL. Would love getting to catch up with more people I knew from back in the days. Unlike my inventory the "online" part of my friends list is looking rather empty at the moment. So, if you see this - don't be a a stranger!
Stay safe and healthy out there, everyone <3
