From the outside it looks like a normal castle on a hill, but nestled in the caves below is a modern underground base.

For an above deck mounted canon at Fort Point completed just before the Civil War.
Today I can present you my newest creation: A Base on Rodia.
This time I really tried to make the base looking good in a architectural way, too.
Also I tried to improve my rockwork and my trees with new techniques.

In the distance on the left is Fanum House which is the headquarters of the Automobile Association in Basingstoke. It is one of several current and former AA buildings named "Fanum House" around the country. The original headquarters in Leicester Square, London, was also called Fanum House, "Fanum" being the call sign of the AA.
Closer and to the right of Fanum House is Viewpoint, and closer and to the right of that is The Square.
The building in the foreground has since been demolished and is being replaced.

This is a picture of the wood base. Well more like plastic base. XD The details on it are very nice. If the string weren't so wire like maybe i could tune it? I am not going to try because I don't want to break it. XD

Based on my yellow Ford Capri mk1 I built this Capri RS2600. Although I think this version isn't as easy recocnizable as the yellow one, I'm a bit happier with it. The wheels are a better fit in terms of size and especially the rear of the car looks better without the bumper.
Again the model is 7 studs wide, so kind of minifig-scale.
Like always I only used genuine LEGO parts, no cutting, no glue, no painting.
This is at the base of Pu'u Pua'ai cinder cone in Kilauea Iki Crater at Volcanoes National Park. The rugged lava rock landscape was lit with my headlamp. It may not look like it, but the milky way and the cinder cone hill in the background were overhead. The milky way in Hawaii is much higher in the sky than in the mainland.
